Our classes are about more than becoming a good actor, singer or dancer. Our classes are about feeling confident in your own skin, forging long-lasting friendships, building a positive mental health mindset and finding your voice.

Welcome to KIPA — Kids in Performing Arts.

KIPA is run by our team of Professional Actors, Singers and Musical Theatre Performers. It is exactly what we wished we had when we were kids. Practical. Empowering. Fun.

What Will My Child Do in KIPA?

Every Saturday, our KIPA class works on their singing, acting and dance skills.

This can include:

• Individual Singing Lessons while the group is learning Choreography

• Filming a Music Video at a Local Park

• Learning about Microphone Technique and recording Lead and Harmony vocals for your Music Video

• Practising Improvisation Skills and Teamwork

• Working on Group Songs

• Practicing Mock Auditions

• Building an Audition Repertoire of Songs and Monologues

This class is designed to prepare young performers to thrive in the Musical Theatre Industry (whether community or professional), while prioritising joy and building confidence.

Who is KIPA for?

Whether they’re bursting with energy or struggle to find your voice in a group, KIPA gives students space to build skills, make friends, and experience the joy of creative collaboration.

This is a safe and empowering space to make mistake. Sing the note wrong. Mess up the dance. Forget your lines. That's how we learn!

We all start somewhere. At KIPA, wherever you are starting, we'll be there to make sure you enjoy the journey.

KIPA is not a space to 'Be a Star'. Yes, you will shine here - but it's a place to build a strong, healthy skills as an artist. Practical Training. Confidence and Building Self-Worth before all else.

Term 3 Details:

When: Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Where: Indooroopilly Uniting Church

Term 2: 19th July – 13th September 2025

Cost: $675 for the 9-week term
