Whether you’re stepping into the camera for the first time, coming back after a break, or ready to stretch yourself creatively, this class is for you.

Adult Acting for Stage & Screen is a welcoming, no-judgement space where you can build performance skills, explore new sides of yourself, and invest in something that’s just for you. You'll work with professional actors and directors who know how to meet you where you're at - and challenge you to keep growing.

This is about more than learning lines. It’s about learning to trust your instincts, connect with an audience, and tell stories with authenticity and confidence.

When: Mondays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Where: St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Indooroopilly
Term 3 Dates: 21st July – 8th September 2025
Cost: $480 (for the 8-week term)
One-Off Class: $60

What Will You Do in Adult Acting for Stage & Screen?

This term’s focus includes:
– Acting technique for both stage and screen
– Character development and script analysis
– Voice work, physicality and presence
– Scene work and group collaboration
– On-camera acting and self-tape practice
– Individual feedback and personalised coaching

Each class blends practical skill-building with creative exploration — whether you're preparing for auditions, stepping up your public speaking skills, or just doing something fun and fulfilling for yourself.

Who is this class for?

This class is for adults aged 18+ who are curious, committed, and open to learning. No experience required - just a willingness to show up, take creative risks, and see what you’re capable of.

You’ll be learning alongside other adults in the same boat, with guidance from instructors who work professionally in the industry.

Showcase
You’ll have the option to share a short scene or project at our relaxed in-class showcase during the final 10–20 minutes of class on Monday 8th September. No pressure — just a chance to celebrate your progress with a supportive group.
