SPLC Drama Club | Wednesday Grade 3/4's (Term 3)

Confidence. Creativity. Communication.

This program is more than just a drama class — it’s a space for young performers to express themselves, take creative risks, and learn how to work together as a team.

Designed for Year 3 and 4 students at St Peters Lutheran College Indooroopilly, SPLC Drama Club builds confidence and communication skills through acting, movement, and playful collaboration. Whether your child is already performing in front of the mirror or just starting to come out of their shell, this class offers a supportive environment where everyone belongs.

Welcome to SPLC Drama Club - a space where creativity grows and every voice matters.

Our teaching team brings a blend of professional theatre and film experience and child-centred education to every session. We’re here to make sure students feel seen, supported, and challenged in all the right ways.

Term 3 Program Details

When: Wednesdays, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Where: PAC Drama Rooms, SPLC Indooroopilly
Term 3 Dates: 23rd July – 10th September 2025
Cost: $420 (for the 7-week term)
Trial Classes: $60 (available in Weeks 1–3)

Students will meet their drama teachers at 3pm at the Lower Primary Undercroft and we'll walk up to the PAC together. Pickup at 4:30pm is from the PAC Forecourt.

No classes are held on 13th August due to the EKKA Show Day.

What Will Students Do in SPLC Drama Club?

This term’s focus includes:
– Improvisation!
– A Book Week performance project
– Balancing physicality and vocal technique in storytelling
– Rehearsing short plays and group scripts
– Building teamwork and performance confidence

Each class combines movement, theatre games and group projects to help students become stronger actors, communicators and collaborators — all while having fun and feeling part of something special.

Who is this class for?

Whether your child is full of energy or finding their feet, this class offers space to explore new ideas, practise performance skills, and grow confidence week by week.

It’s okay to get things wrong here. In fact, it’s expected. That’s how we grow. SPLC Drama Club is a safe space to try, play, forget a line, try again, and keep going — with encouragement at every step.

Parents and families are invited to a relaxed in-class showcase during the final 10–20 minutes of class on Wednesday 10th September.
