Teens Singing (Term 3) - Indro | Ages 10 - 17

Confidence. Creativity. Expression.

This class is designed for students aged 13–17 who are passionate about singing and want to develop their vocal skills in a supportive and creative environment. While designed for teens, students aged 10–12 are welcome to trial the class if they feel it’s the right fit. We also have a kids class on Wednesday afternoon that is better suited to beginner singers under 12.

Think of this class as a blend between a private lesson and a choir — offering the freedom to explore music that students are genuinely excited about. Whether you're working towards solo performances or just love singing in a group, this class gives students space to explore their unique voice, build confidence, and refine their technique.

Welcome to Teens Singing!

Led by experienced vocal instructors, this class supports singers of all levels in developing healthy vocal habits, expressive storytelling through song, and a stronger connection to their own sound.

Term 3 Program Details

When: Tuesdays, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Where: St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Indooroopilly
Term 3 Dates: 22nd July – 9th September 2025
Cost: $384 (for the 8-week term)
Trial Classes: $48 (available in Weeks 1–3)

What Will Students Do in Teens Singing?

This term’s focus includes:
– Vocal training and technique (breath control, tone, vocal health)
– Exploring vocal identity and building stylistic confidence
– Solo and group singing with individualised feedback
– Learning how to sing in harmony and blend with others
– Developing expressive performance and audience connection
– Exploring genres like Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Folk and more
– Building performance skills and stage presence in a relaxed setting

Each session offers a mix of skill-building, rehearsal and performance coaching, always tailored to student goals and interests.

Who is this class for?

This class is open to students aged 10–17 with a passion for singing. Whether your child is an experienced vocalist or just starting out, we create a safe, fun and focused environment where they can grow.

Students don’t need to audition or have prior experience — just a willingness to sing, listen, try and explore.

Important Notes
This class is not designed for opera training or singing in foreign languages.

Students aged 10–12 may participate, but please be aware some pop lyrics may contain mature themes — instructors will guide song choices and offer age-appropriate alternatives where possible, however older teen students are allowed to work on songs with explicit language (within reason).

Showcase
Parents and families are invited to a relaxed in-class showcase during the final 10–20 minutes of class on Tuesday 9th September.
