Adult Musical Theatre (Term 3) - Indro

Whether your goal is to audition for a community production, land your first lead role, or simply build confidence in singing, acting, dancing and performing, this class is for you.

Designed for adults from absolute beginners to intermediate performers, this is a space to explore your love of musical theatre, grow your skills, and enjoy the process of learning in a fun, welcoming environment.

Maybe you haven’t performed since school. Maybe you’ve always dreamed of being on stage but never thought you could. Maybe you did a Musical Theatre degree years ago and you're ready to level up your skills with the support of professional guidance. Wherever you're starting from - this class will help you take that next step.

Term 3 Program Details

When: Wednesdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Where: St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Indooroopilly
Term 3 Dates: 23rd July – 10th September 2025
Cost: $525 (for the 7-week term)
One-Off Classes: $75

No classes will run on 13th August due to the EKKA Show Day

What Will You Do in Adult Musical Theatre?

This term’s focus includes:
– Vocal technique and healthy singing habits
– Acting skills, script work and improvisation
– Stagecraft, choreography and movement for the stage
– Audition technique and preparation
– Solo and group performance work
– Industry insights for navigating Brisbane and beyond

Each session blends singing, acting and movement in a way that supports both beginners and returning performers. It’s all about building confidence, improving technique, and discovering your unique voice and style.

Who is this class for?

Open to adults aged 18+, this class is for anyone who wants to sing, act and perform in a supportive, creative environment. Whether you’re curious, nervous, excited, terrified or all of the above - you’ll be learning alongside others who are in exactly the same place.

No experience is needed. Just come ready to try, explore and have a lot of fun along the way.

Showcase
You’ll have the option to share a song or group number during a relaxed in-class showcase in the final 10–20 minutes of class on Wednesday 10th September.
