Kids Musical Theatre (Term 4) - Esk

Confidence. Creativity. Joy.

This class is designed for students aged 6–12 who love singing, acting and performing. It’s a joyful space where young performers build confidence, imagination and stagecraft through fun, engaging and interactive lessons.

Each week, students explore acting, voice technique, movement and stagecraft while learning songs, scenes, choreography and improvisation games. Our focus is always on helping kids find their voice, connect with others, and enjoy the magic of creating together.

Led by industry-experienced instructors, this class supports self-expression, teamwork and artistic exploration, with lessons tailored to suit the interests and learning styles of the students in the room.

Term 4 Program Details

When: Wednesdays, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Where: Somerset Civic Centre
Term 4 Dates: 15th October - 26th November 2025
Cost: $245 (for the 7-week term)
Trial Classes: $35 (available in Weeks 1–3)

What Will Students Do in Kids Musical Theatre?

This term’s focus includes:
– Acting and singing technique for young performers
– Vocal training and healthy breathing habits
– Character creation and stagecraft
– Learning songs and simple scripts from musical theatre and film
– Movement and beginner choreography
– Improvisation and drama games
– Blocking and storytelling on stage
– Group performance and ensemble skills

Each lesson blends fun with focused skill-building, helping students gain performance confidence while enjoying creative play and collaboration.

Who is this class for?

This class is open to students aged 6–12 who enjoy singing, acting, moving or simply being part of something creative. Whether your child is outgoing or still finding their voice, they’ll be welcomed into a kind and inclusive group.

No experience needed — just energy, curiosity and a willingness to give it a go!
