Kids Singing (Term 3) - Indro | Ages 6 - 12

This class is designed for students aged 6–12 who are passionate about singing and want to develop their vocal skills in a supportive and creative environment. if your child is aged 10+ and is an experiecend singer, consider joining our teens singing class.

Think of this class as a blend between a private lesson and a choir, offering the freedom to explore music that students are genuinely excited about. Whether your child is working towards solo performances or simply loves singing with others, this class creates space to explore their unique voice, build confidence, and grow strong, healthy singing habits.

Welcome to Kids Singing!

Led by experienced vocal instructors, this class helps students of all levels find confidence, develop vocal awareness, and discover the fun of musical storytelling.

Term 3 Program Details

When: Wednesdays, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Where: St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Indooroopilly
Term 3 Dates: 23rd July – 10th September 2025 (7 weeks)
Cost: $336 (for the 7-week term)
Trial Classes: $48 (available in Weeks 1–3)

No classes will be held on 13th August due to the EKKA Show Day.

What Will Students Do in Kids Singing?

This term’s focus includes:
– Vocal training and technique (breath control, pitch, tone)
– Exploring your unique voice and building stylistic confidence
– Solo and group singing with individual support
– Harmonies and blending in group settings
– Performance skills and storytelling through song
– Singing in a variety of genres: Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Folk and more
– Building stage presence in a safe and encouraging environment

Each class is filled with singing exercises, structured technique, and opportunities to build confidence - all tailored to younger learners.

Who is this class for?

This class is open to students aged 6–12 who love to sing around the house or perform on a stage. No experience is needed .

Whether your child is performing around Brisbane or still finding their voice, this classroom is designed to help them feel supported, encouraged, and proud of their progress.

Important Notes
This class is not designed for learning opera or singing in foreign languages.

All song choices are age-appropriate and guided by the instructor. For example, if your child is wanting to sing a new pop song with dozens of swear words or sexually explicit language (happens all the time!), we'll gently guide them to a more age appropriate song in a similar style they can happily sing for grandma.

Showcase
Parents and families are invited to a relaxed in-class showcase during the final 10–20 minutes of class on Wednesday 10th September.
